FoodLogic, New Jersey has reportedly launched a skin care line to promote food ingredients in skin care products. Facts provide that the Be fine Food skin Care line comprises of 12 products, apparently formulated with 181 organic food ingredients including avocado, beets, mushrooms, pomegranates, pineapple, sugarcane, cocoa and rice.
Priced in between $15.99 to $26.99 the products are scheduled to hit supermarkets and grocery stores by August. The claim here is that these food products are formulated to cleanse, moisturize and regenerate the skin.
Research has shown that intake of vegetables and fruits like avocados, pomegranates, cocoa, pineapple and other vegetables are rich in vitamins and minerals, which is necessary to keep the skin hydrated and glowing.
Though the products are an easy way to nourish the skin of people with busy lifestyles, yet nothing replaces a diet of fruits, green leafy vegetables, grains, dairy and seed for a detoxifying the system and keeping the skin beautiful from inside.
However, it is a new expansion of organic food products to give nutrition to the skin through direct application, in case the skin is not found meeting the required nutrients in a healthy diet.

Hi, this is a great article there was a rubbish article in the weekend paper about organic products being no better than conventionally farmed products, absolute propaganda!
I read a great post by my friend Dr Joanne Turner the other day about choosing skincare that prematurely age you skin. You can read the post here
I have been researching the net, and found a great beauty product line that certifies their orgainc beauty products to food standards, so that means, the ingredients are actually edible, and free of dangerous toxins and chemicals. Visit www.pforganics.mionegroup.com to learn more or email at patriciafanutti@sympatico.ca for some free samples. I’d be more than happy to share this great find with you!
