Colourpop’s new pretty fresh collection, their new tinted moisturizer a primer and setting spray, is the must-have skin care products for those familiar with tinted moisturizers. Colourpop tinted moisturizer which is supposed to be used as part of your daily skincare routine to give you healthy, radiant, and hydrated fresh-looking skin is certainly not your average skincare product.
It covers visible skin blemishes, revitalizes the look and feel of your skin, and hydrates dry chapped skin while eliminating skin redness and dullness.
ColourPop Pretty Fresh Tinted Moisturizer Packaging.
The packaging on the ColourPop pretty fresh tinted moisturizer looks really nice and all of the ColourPop skincare product range has hyaluronic acid and coconut water in them.
Is ColourPop Tinted Moisturizer Good For Dry Skin?
Combination skin tends to be dry and oily at the same time. And if you happen to have it as I do, your normal daily skincare routine is likely based on wearing carefully tested skincare products you can trust. So when Colourpop tinted moisturizer came to market, it’s normal to wonder if it is suitable for dry skin.
The ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer is good for dry skin. The ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer formula is lightweight, oil-free, and contains Hyaluronic Acid and Coconut Water, which helps the skin bind the moisture it needs to hydrate.
Before trying out ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer, you probably have been using regular tinted moisturizers or lighter types of skin foundations.
Sadly, every time I use regular tinted moisturizer, I feel like I don’t get as many benefits as I do with ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer.
While regular tinted moisturizers provide full coverage glam foundation, they can be heavy too heavy on your skin. But ColourPop Pretty Fresh tinted moisturizer is like the kind of product that I would be using on a daily basis.
ColourPop Tinted Moisturizer Pricing
Color pop products are so affordable according to the recent pricing deals on Amazon for a hyaluronic tinted moisturizer, which comes in 24 different shades.
Having a wide variety of shades is very exciting for ColorPop tinted moisturizer as often when
brands launch tinted moisturizer, there are few color swatch selections. Since
ColourPop Tinted Moisturizer is not really the traditional foundation makeup, you would expect that they would have launched way fewer tented shades selection like literally like four shades.
The majority of skincare brands will launch light tinted moisturizers, medium tinted moisturizers, Deep dark-tinted moisturizers. Unlike other tinted moisturizers, ColourPop tinted moisturizers come in a more expansive range of shades of about 24 different shades.
How To Choose A Tinted Moisturizer shade?
Choosing a tinted moisturizer shade to match your skin tone requires a simple color swatch selection followed by testing.
As a general rule of thumb, you should choose a tinted moisturizer shade close to your skin tone. Squeeze a pea-size amount of tinted moisturizer and use the soft makeup application foam to evenly apply the tinted moisturizer at the back of your arm or cheek. If the tinted moisturizer completely disappears, you have your skin shade match.
The ColourPop tinted moisturizer shade chart looks pretty tight as it has eight light shades to guide you when choosing your skin tone, and they include:
- Eight medium ColourPop tinted moisturizer shades
- Eight dark ColourPop tinted moisturizer shades.
- Eight Light ColourPop tinted moisturizer shades.
As a mixed-race girl, my skin is quite pale in contrast to my siblings, so I usually go with a medium 10n while my sister goes for a dark shade as she has this perfectly Mediterranean tanned skin tone, but I feel like that medium ColourPop tinted moisturizer looks best for me.
Doing a skin color swatch matching test helps when getting yours as some of the tinted moisturizers tend to have a neutral undertone, and then some of them have a warm undertone.
The good news with ColorPop tinted moisturizer shade is properly coded so you can easily order your true skin match. My skin type’s undertones match well with the ColorPop medium shade that ends with an N. The color matching codes are easy to follow, so if it’s neutral, it ends with N and ColorPop tinted moisturizer W means you have warm skin undertones.
To make a complete package for your use, you need the ColorPop pretty fresh tinted moisturizer, ColourPop Pretty fresh hyaluronic, and ColorPop primer with hyaluronic acid well as coconut water. Make sure to also get the hyaluronic setting spray which you can use to set and hydrate the skin.
Is ColourPop Tinted Moisturizer Shade Vegan?
As social consumerism continues to gain traction, making sure you are using an ethically produced skincare range is vital. That’s why more consumers today want to know if ColourPop tinted moisturizer is vegan or not.
ColourPop tinted moisturizer shade is vegan, gluten-free, and paraben-free. So for best results with your ColorPop tinted moisturizer, begin applying your tinted moisturizer after you start with the primer.
Make sure to shake tinted moisturizer and apply as evenly as possible, beginning with your Tzone going out to your cheekbones.
How Much Tinted Moisturizer To Apply to Your Skin?
Squeeze out about two to three pumps into your palm before applying directly to your skin. The inconsistent form of the ColourPop tinted moisturizer makes it easy to cover a much wider facial area and it reminds me of the likeness to the ColourPop skin milk foundation that they have on their skincare range.
ColourPop tinted moisturizer has a really beautiful refreshing scent to it and smells really nice with a hint of coconut which comes from the coconut water.
When you apply ColourPop tinted moisturizer, it feels nice on my skin, giving it a smooth canvas when you evenly apply the tinted moisturizer on top of it. Your skin certainly feels nice and moisturized. It also looks plump and glowing too. These are stuff I don’t see in many skincare products in the coverage range.
ColourPop tinted moisturizer comes with subtle things you won’t find elsewhere, little things like pore-filling action or making your skin feels really great when you least expect it.
Apply The ColourPop Hyaluronic Acid Tinted Moisturizer.
Once you apply the ColourPop tinted moisturizer, go ahead and apply the hyaluronic acid tinted moisturizer. In my case, the ColourPop tinted moisturizer hyaluronic 10n is best suited to my skin tone as they have a couple of other shades you can choose from.
The ColourPop tinted moisturizer Application Experience
The application of the ColourPop tinted moisturizer starts with two pumps and then
I have the ability to build on that by adding more if I need to. After squeezing a few pea-sized milk-like product to your makeup applicator, you will notice how it feels as ColourPop tinted moisturizer has a really creamy texture yet not overly liquidy but just not thick either.
Think of ColourPop tinted moisturizer as right in between which I do like when I am applying my ColourPop tinted moisturizer with a Beauty Blender and then blend that out to reveal the wow factor look.
ColourPop tinted moisturizer literally just melts into the skin giving it a nice light tint with radiance. But if you are expecting full coverage, possibly ColourPop tinted moisturizer is not going to be full coverage.
Typically, full coverage tinted moisturizers say explicitly on their packages that they are, but ColourPop tinted moisturizer doesn’t claim to be it. Interestingly, most skincare enthusiasts often wonder if ColourPop tinted moisturizer is buildable.
ColourPop tinted moisturizer is a buildable tinted moisturizer. It is a lightweight coverage for fresh healthy skin with a beautiful natural radiant glow to the skin.
While there are plenty of other benefits to using ColourPop tinted moisturizer, less knowledgeable consumers often make mistakes when getting this product with the expectations for this to be full coverage, ColourPop tinted moisturizer is not a full coverage rather a tinted moisturizer.
I think you will be better getting a foundation because as ColourPop tinted moisturizer is only a tinted moisturizer and not a foundation.
The skincare market has plenty of full coverage tinted moisturizers from big cosmetics which I do love like CC cream sold at a much higher price point, and that’s really the only one that I’ve tried as a full coverage.
But with only two pumps, ColourPop tinted moisturizer definitely really evens out my complexion as I don’t typically self tan considering my skin tone, It’s normally naturally tanned but a lot lighter to my liking. So applying ColourPop tinted moisturizer definitely helps to even everything out on my skin, but the idea of getting a massive coverage is not going to happen with this product. ColourPop tinted moisturizer just evens out the skin that’s why you need to go in with one
extra pump because ColourPop tinted moisturizer is buildable and if you layer it nicely, you will see how well it can build itself up by just focusing it in areas you need it the most starting with your t-zone and then blend it outwards.
ColourPop tinted moisturizer helps those who have some blemishes requiring to cover up a little bit and ColourPop tinted moisturizer did help to cover them up a little bit more.
Tinted moisturizer also does feel very nice, especially for those with dry skin, ColourPop tinted moisturizer feels hydrating, which I personally like and something that I expect with tinted moisturizers.
As much as most foundations don’t necessarily feel hydrating but I feel like with tinted
Moisturizers do a lot of times. And the good news does not stop there, with three pumps ColourPop tinted moisturizer definitely builds up in the t-zone where I tend to add that extra pump.
So, suppose you are looking for a buildable tinted moisturizer. In that case, you can build it up with as many pumps as long as you use a combination of the available ColourPop tinted moisturizer shades to really build it up to your liking.
Does a tinted moisturizer give coverage?
Full coverage tinted moisturizers are the holy grail of skincare. And, if you want to include it in your skincare routine, the selection of your products shows clearly where your priorities lie when it comes to full coverage.
Tinted moisturizer does not give coverage. Tinted moisturizers like the Colourpop tinted moisturizer act as a sheer veil to your skin, giving it a natural glow with radiance while reducing superficial blemish appearance of the skin, redness, reducing uneven skin tone and dark spots
If all you want is to give your skin a fuller coverage, I would recommend going in with a foundation layer and then building it up with Colourpop tinted moisturizer to make it really full coverage.
On its own, Colourpop tinted moisturizer looks very beautiful on the skin and it feels really nice as it melts into my skin’s imperfections.
Does Tinted Moisturizer Last All Day?
If I could wave a magic wand, I would want my tinted moisturizer to last as long as it can possibly go. Sadly, good things must come to an end all the time.
Typically, tinted moisturizer does not last all day. 3-6 hours is the best time you can get coverage from tinted moisturizers. However, layering your tinted moisturizer with a good primer, makes it to last all day even if you sweat a lot all day. Applying a primer before tinted moisturizer improves the longevity of coverage exponentially than those who skip applying a primer first before a coverage tint moisturizer.
Though I am well aware of how little time tinted moisturizer lasts, I was certainly interested to see how long ColourPop tinted moisturizer will last on my skin when I first applied it for the first time.
So, knowing that tinted moisturizers go longer when layered up with other products you trust and like the most, I decided to go with a little bit of concealer first.
In this case, my daily go-to products are Too Faced Born This Way Concealer and touch up with Huda beauty brown obsessions caramel under eyes and cheekbone area while keeping it pretty natural elsewhere.
How Do You Apply ColourPop Tinted Moisturizer?
ColourPop tinted moisturizer can be worn on a daily basis, and when I wan’t to get something that is easy to apply, quick to revitalize, then the ColourPop tinted moisturizer is your best option.
Typically, wearing ColourPop tinted moisturizer is done in step by step, beginning with just blending your concealer with your favorite primer and concealer like Reserve your Cabana from Wet n Wild just to set down that concealer.
To make sure it’s not moving and slipping or sliding as you go about your today, you need to set your tinted moisturizer with a little bit of a powder especially when you are doing it on a daily basis, using a lighter coverage foundation or CC and the BB cream sets it well with a powder to just lightly hold it together so that it doesn’t move around throughout the day.
A little bit of investment into your skincare range doesn’t hate as I feel like leaving anything kind of tacky on your skin is just never gonna really end well, as you get older, I do test and extensively research pretty much all the time to make sure that anything on my face is packed with goodness and free from harsh chemicals.
So in the case of applying tinted moisturizer to your face and neck, always use skin care products that you know, like and trust.
Familiarity in skincare products we choose to incorporate into our skincare routine is vital and for me, I use regular quality product lines like the Laura Geller baked balance and brighten color correcting foundation, Laura Geller baked balance and brighten in the shade medium
and use it to set the tone of the look I am going for without risking it to go down or slipping off before the end of the day.
To suppress the sweat damage and prolong the glow and radiance of tinted moisturizer, I also apply L’oreal glam bronze La Terra healthy glow as I do on a daily basis to avoid doing full-out
Makeup, I just pop that on and do a quick eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows. Then last but not least is doing my lips with the best lip balm and finish with something classy like the house labs lip liner.
The lip balms and lip liners come in a variety of shade and in point I’ve really found that that choosing standout colors for aligning my lips before applying the corresponding lip gloss is rewarding.
When everything is done and dusted,I go in with the ColourPop setting spray to set everything down. The pretty fresh ColourPop hyaluronic acid setting mist is terrific. Its super-light which I love and it smells like a beautiful coconut scent for a budget primer and the setting spray with overwhelming freshness.
